MirrorFall Act 1 (on hold)
A downloadable game for Windows
I am currently putting this on hold as I'd rather work on the 3D platformer for now. Thank you for understanding.
Notes:
- Controller support is present for Xinput devices only at the moment. Joysticks cannot be bound right now.
- If you somehow are in a situation where you can't control the game, press escape 3 times on the title screen to open the menu to reset all bindings
- Double clicking the game window enters/exits fullscreen rather than alt + enter or F4.

Same as the other commenter, left a review of the game with some more detailed thoughts on it. I enjoyed my time with it & I'm impressed by the amount of content present in this build, looking forward to the future of this project!
Thank you for taking your time to write a review!
Here's some responses to your feedback:
-For the main characters not speaking to each-other: This has been an issue multiple people have mentioned to me and was semi-intentional as I wanted to the player to form their own reactions, but it does make them feel kinda emotionless in hindsight.
I think it'll be for the better that I change this, as it makes interactions feel a bit awkward otherwise.
-For the Timer UI: I'm unsure where I could place it that doesn't cause too much visual clutter. Perhaps maybe to the bottom-left next to the board? Since that would be closer to other UI elements.
I'll try out some mockups and see what people like.
-Areas such as the catacombs being too large has been an issue some other players have had too. The map item currently works as a gameplay band-aid, but I feel its still annoying to backtrack through, so it'll need a layout rework down the line.
Great demo, and great game!! I wrote a good review thinking other people could see it, but oh well.
Sorry about that. I'll make reviews public since I totally forgot about it when I was using this page for testing.
Edit: Looking it up, it appears itch.io's reviews are to the developer-only. That's pretty silly. I've read your review, however, and I'm very thankful for it!
