Public Playtest has been updated to 1.9!
General:
- Enemies now have shadows drawn under them when in battle.
- Fixed the Cube Chicken in front of the Save Library during the chicken invasion not looking at you correctly.
- Cars during the parking lot will now also shatter the follower if the player has already been shattered, rather than phasing through them.
- Added a special box which acts as a 1-time refill for ActionPoints before the second Billmo fight.
- Fixed putting Billmo to sleep breaking the turncount used for his attack pattern on his second battle. (This was in 1.8 but I forgot to mention it until now)
- Added Monopod call text to all the currently playable rooms.
- A laser now blocks you from going back in "Beware, Robot...". This is to guide the player into using the MonoPod.
- BlockBot projectiles now pause if you use the Monopod.
- Added the ability to prevent using the MonoPod in problematic situations, such as during the Whack-A-Mole minigame.
- Fixed several glitches with how the MonoPod interacts with the cars in "City Outskirts".
- Fixed both a crash, and a softlock involving using DoubleCandy, and finishing a battle before the first character runs out of stacking time.
- Fixed STILL being able to spam the Blockzooka by waiting out the timer, and then spamming. Rather than pressing Action 1 to spam it while the timer is going down.
Audio:
- Fixed Shopkeeper voice SFX sometimes calling the wrong voice sound files, this was due to voice SFX lists not being properly cleared.
- Made level battle victory theme slightly quieter, as it was too loud.
- Fixed missing text box voice SFX when you used the Monopod near Monotone.
UI:
- The Action button for swapping characters will now appear under the follower during battles, sort of like for the player with ActionPoints.
- You can now press Action 2 to escape the "skip intro" prompt upon starting a new game.
Controls:
- The leftmost control stick now works. It cannot be bound. (Control sticks will not have binding support due to several issues ATM)
- When using controller, holding down select, and pressing start 3 times will enable panic bindings reset on the main menu.
- Fixed panic bindings reset not properly clearing gamepad buttons.
- Fixed issues with inputs not being stored right if you bound an action.
Actions:
- Fixed LucieGolf possibly causing Billmo's egg blocks to fall. (AFAIK they couldn't fall but I added the check just to be 100% sure)
- Fixed incorrect value being referenced for Blockzooka projectile speed. They will now move consistently.
- Fixed text when you try to use GrayAway with no blockboard, as it incorrectly called the action an item.
- GrayAway will now check for gray blocks before using it, so you don't waste ActionPoints.
- GrayAway ActionPoints cost changed: 25 > 30.
- Using LucieGolf on Junk-Woes, damage from the action will now properly destroy their boxes.
